Collaborate with the Firm’s attorneys to develop pricing proposals and budgets. Identify pricing concerns and help navigate challenges due to client requirements.
Evaluate historical data, trends, and available information about the future to formulate alternative solutions, with a focus on engagement, client, and matter profitability.
Maintain high levels of customer service and responsiveness for attorneys, clients, and staff.
Work effectively with all Finance & Accounting (F&A) functions to deliver high quality, accurate, timely, seamless service to attorneys and clients, in accordance with established firm policies.
Work with senior management to refine current work processes, develop new tools, and implement new ideas.
Assist in the development of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP) and provide the financial/business impact to the management and executive leadership.
Supports the analysis of contingency fee cases, from initial approval assessment to monthly analysis of run rate against budgets/caps.
Build effective working relationships with cross-functional support departments and team members.
Follow the rate approval process and generate regular status reports on complex client pricing arrangements; highlighting risks to firm management and initiating follow-up as needed.
Completing special projects on various issues as needed or when requested.

Understand firm profitability models to provide scenario analysis and insights on what a deal costs to support pricing decisions for firm management.

Highly motivated with ability to drive results and work independently
Experience with SQL Reporting Services, Cognos BI, and SQL queries
Strong analytical skills with good verbal and written communication/presentation skills
4-5+ years of financial reporting and analysis experience
Finance-related Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA preferred
