Experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor sought to join the expanding team in Cork of a prominent Main Building Contractor. Our client boasts a stellar industry reputation and remarkable growth over recent years, embracing a diverse range of project types. The accomplished Senior QS will be in direct communication with a Commercial Director and will oversee a team of junior quantity surveyors. Ideal candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in the field of quantity surveying.

Proven expertise in Commercial and Industrial Project Management
Demonstrates excellent fiscal responsibility
Preferred qualification: Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying
Minimum of 7 years of professional experience with a proven track record in managing interactions with Subcontractors and Clients concerning Valuations, Variations, Final Accounts, and cost reporting
Self-motivated, capable of structuring the workday around assigned tasks and priorities with minimal supervision; demonstrates flexibility and a strong commitment to success
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver and clarify accurate reports
Demonstrates a deep understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and technical drawings
Able to collaborate effectively within a diverse team, showcasing strong interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and time management skills, capable of handling multiple priorities simultaneously
Degree in Quantity Surveying
Proficient in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying software packages
