Requirements

Langan is seeking a Cyber Security Intern or Co‑op to join its Information Technology discipline in Parsippany, NJ. The role involves researching and documenting cyber security best practices and tools, providing practical experience on IT security projects for an engineering consulting firm. Interns will work closely with teams to support security initiatives across the organization.

• Pursue a degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (preferred)
• Hold or work toward relevant certifications (e.g., Blue Team Level 1, eJPT, eCPPT, AZ‑900, AZ‑500)
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Deliver high‑quality work with strong attention to detail
• Exhibit excellent communication skills
• Be self‑motivated, adaptable, and dependable

The estimated hourly range for this role is $25‑$30, with actual compensation based on experience, location, education, certifications, and related skills. Eligible employees may receive discretionary bonuses tied to performance and firm profitability, as well as up to 20 days of paid vacation, 10 days of paid sick leave, and 10 paid holidays annually, subject to local law.
