Tasks

-Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies. -Developing design tools and standards with our engineers -Building internal tools and processes -Support the development of the multidisciplinary engineering team by -Support pursuit and project civil/structural/roadway/hydro and dam engineering design work by -Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required. -Participating in the development of design deliverables, including collaborating with engineers and designers/drafters -Gathering market intelligence -Producing simple design calculations and analyses

-Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment -Pursuing a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or a related degree -Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned. -Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done. -Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel -Work productively and meet deadlines timely -Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment. -Regular, reliable attendance -Good written and verbal communication skills

-Be available for full-time work for a 4-8 month internship period (starting Jan 2026) and returning to full-time studies afterwards
