Retail Cleaner

Description

Cleaners are responsible for daily cleaning tasks to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and safety. Duties include operating machinery, mopping, vacuuming, wiping, sweeping, and cleaning toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and trolley bays. All health and safety procedures must be followed, and full training is provided.

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including mopping, vacuuming, sweeping, and wiping to keep the store spotless.
• Operate cleaning machinery safely and handle cleaning of toilets, surfaces, ceilings, windows, oven canopies, and trolley bays.
• Adhere to all health and safety procedures while performing duties.
• Complete the full training program provided by Arcus.
• Follow the fixed 18‑hour weekly schedule with early‑morning shifts and take advantage of overtime opportunities.

Requirements

Previous cleaning experience is beneficial but not required, as on‑the‑job training will be supplied. Candidates need an eye for detail, a positive attitude toward cleaning and customer service, and a smartphone with NFC capability for the Arcus Connect app, which is a condition of employment.
