Basic Job Functions – The Maintenance Electrician must demonstrate honesty, integrity, and ownership while diagnosing, repairing, or replacing components in complex electrical control systems. This includes navigating PLC programs, drive configurations, and industrial communication networks. The role requires work on weekends, holidays, rotating shifts, and both scheduled and unscheduled overtime, with a strong emphasis on initiating, leading, and upholding safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards.

Fundamental understanding of electrical theory
Experience troubleshooting low‑voltage (<600 VAC) motors and controllers
Experience troubleshooting PLCs, instrumentation, process control devices, and VFDs
At least 3 years of industrial or military electrical maintenance experience
2‑year or 4‑year degree in electrical or related field
Experience maintaining overhead cranes
Exposure to electrical substation equipment and maintenance practices
