We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Utility Specialist to support our residential development projects with a focus on utility coordination, permitting, and infrastructure execution. The ideal candidate will have a background in construction development with a strong understanding of utility systems (water, sewer, gas, electrical, telecommunications) and regulatory processes.

  • Strong knowledge of utility systems (gas, water, sewer, storm, electrical, telecom) in residential or mixed-use development.
  • Familiarity with permitting and entitlement processes in California is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling, and document management systems.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to manage vendors and agencies.
  • Hands-on experience coordinating with PG&E, local water districts, telecom companies, or similar providers.
  • Experience reading and interpreting utility and civil engineering drawings.
  • Familiarity with California building codes, permitting, and entitlement processes.
  • Junior-Level: 2+ years of relevant experience in utility coordination, land development, or construction.
  • Solid understanding of utility infrastructure in residential construction or land development.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Senior-Level: Proven experience managing complex utility infrastructure projects and cross-agency coordination.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
