As a Housekeeper you help maintain a safe, clean, and attractive environment for employees and residents by caring for the interior and shared spaces of a multifamily property.
Your focus is on the community’s public spaces and amenities such as lobbies, hallways, stairwells, elevators, recreation areas, fountains, pool areas, business centers, and other resident amenities. This includes cleaning carpets and rugs, shampooing them, and cleaning hard‑surface flooring with appropriate supplies and safety signage. You also perform door‑to‑door trash pickup and transport waste to the disposal area throughout the day.
As part of the maintenance team you assist in the make‑ready process for recently vacant units by completing a full apartment cleaning before a new resident moves in. Your friendly and efficient approach is essential when engaging with residents, and you are committed to creating a safe working environment for the team and a safe living environment for residents with a safety‑first mindset.
The role requires treating all residents with the highest level of care, demonstrating integrity and a strong focus on personal and public safety, and maintaining regular attendance and punctuality. Strong verbal and written communication, respect for others, ownership of tasks, confidentiality, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment are essential.
A high school diploma or GED is required, along with at least one year of work experience, preferably in property management, hospitality, or a related service industry. Prior groundskeeping, custodial, housekeeping, or janitorial experience is preferred but not mandatory, and a valid driver’s license is needed to operate company‑owned vehicles or use a personal vehicle for work.
Physical requirements include working 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday‑Friday with occasional weekends, frequently lifting or moving items up to 25 lb (occasionally up to 50 lb), and being able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in various weather conditions.
Job Details: The position is located at Concierge Apartments in Richfield, MN and is a full‑time, day‑shift role in the Facilities category. Salary is $16.00‑$18.00 hourly and no specific education level is required.
You will work full‑time, generally Monday through Friday, with schedules adjusted during high‑traffic holiday periods as approved by a supervisor. The company offers benefits such as medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, auto‑enrollment in a 401(k) after 60 days, 40 vacation hours in the first year, paid sick leave as required by state law, and holiday pay after 90 days of employment for six designated holidays.
