Tour and inspect small to mid-size job sites to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
Maintain all site-required documentation related to safety issues, including accident reports, inspection reports, and training logs.
Report safety concerns to management and ensure enforcement of OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
Use safety data to track trends and injury rates, and develop loss control strategies to prevent future incidents.
Ensure cited safety issues are addressed within designated timeframes.
Participate in and document accident and injury investigations, submitting data to regulatory agencies as required.
Train less-experienced safety employees as necessary.
Provide emergency response to employees as needed.
Participate in ad-hoc safety projects and attend owner and client meetings.
Contribute to the development of training materials and facilitate employee training sessions.

Completion of OSHA 10hr, OSHA 30hr, and OSHA 40hr training.
Ability to lead employees effectively.

Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Health, or Environmental Applied Sciences or related discipline preferred.
Effective project management skills.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction safety, including employee training experience.
