Junior Structural Engineer

Description

• Perform design and calculation tasks using standard engineering techniques and software.
• Develop Revit and AutoCAD drawings from sketches, specifications, and design computations.
• Review sketches, drawings, and specifications from engineers and architects.
• Conduct site visits for observations, measurements, and construction administration.
• Instruct drafters and designers and conduct quality control of construction documents.
• Coordinate project discipline drawings and specifications and assist with client communication.
• Research code issues and present interpretations.
• Use STAAD, TEDDS, and other engineering software for calculations and design.

Requirements

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and an aptitude for graphics with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, STAAD, Microsoft Office, and Adobe Acrobat. Candidates must hold an Engineering Intern Certificate; salary ranges $69k‑$87k annually. Physical requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus.

• Engineering Intern certificate (EIT) required.
