

Provides engineering, planning, and consulting services across various infrastructure sectors.
The role provides leadership within the Right of Way team, coordinating with agents, clients, engineers, and other disciplines to deliver transportation, energy, or utility projects on schedule and within budget. The supervisor will train and mentor staff while managing the workload for the assigned team.
Key responsibilities include receiving guidance from senior management, overseeing people and processes, and ensuring quality assurance through staff work reviews. The supervisor assists field agents with on‑site assessments, manages daily assignments and resource allocation, tracks progress, enforces project procedures, and provides guidance for problem identification and solution implementation. Additional duties involve timesheet reviews and employee evaluations.
Success in this role requires strong independent and team‑oriented work habits, effective communication at all organizational levels, and a motivated, problem‑solving attitude. Candidates should demonstrate urgency, high work ethic, marketing and business development mindset, and the ability to manage multiple time‑sensitive tasks while understanding basic financial metrics.
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent right‑of‑way experience, with five or more years in land acquisition, easement, title research, or related fields. At least two years of supervisory experience is preferred, along with knowledge of acquisition, permitting, public relations, and regulatory issues. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database systems, and reading design plans is required, as is a valid driver’s license and a satisfactory driving record; bilingual ability and a real‑estate license within 90 days are advantageous.
The position is primarily office‑based, requiring mobility within the workplace and frequent use of standard office equipment. Local travel during business days is common, with occasional out‑of‑area or overnight trips; occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or reaching up to 20 pounds may be required.
