Is responsible for troubleshooting, installation, operation and maintenance of instrumentation & control and electrical equipment and systems within the plant.
Performs instrumentation troubleshooting and maintenance, electronic circuit board diagnostics, print and logic diagram reading, transmitter repair and calibrations, control valve repair and calibrations with DVC’s, Allen Bradley 5000 PLC systems, hydraulic systems and pneumatics.
Performs routine electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities as needed.
May also serve as new project lead to assist with other E&I Technicians and/or contractors.
Will also be responsible for new vendor communications.
Include troubleshooting, installation, operation and maintenance of electrical power systems, low and medium voltage switchgear, AC/DC motors and starters/contactors, as well has electrical conduit and stainless-steel tubing installation.

A minimum of 1-3 years of related electrical, instrumentation and controls work experience with strong troubleshooting skills is required.
A minimum of 10 years of related electrical, instrumentation and controls work experience with strong troubleshooting skills is required.
The position is subject to overtime and expected to respond to call outs.
Requires knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation & Controls.
Ability to work during inclement weather.
A valid driver’s license.
This position requires heavy lifting and climbing tall structures at extreme heights.
Good physical condition and ability to work in confined spaces including the ability to wear a respirator and maintain annual respirator qualification.
A requires the ability to maintain and troubleshoot electro-mechanical and microprocessor devices and relay logic.
Experience operating personal computers and a fundamental knowledge of Windows based software.
