Ensure timely processing and retrieval of controlled documents such as engineering drawings, technical procedures, QA records, procurement documentation, and regulatory deliverables.
Lead and supervise document control specialists, records coordinators, and administrative staff.
Maintain traceability, configuration control, and records integrity in accordance with nuclear and DOE standards.
Oversee classification, retention, protection, and disposition of records in accordance with DOE Records Management guidelines and federal records laws.
Provide training on document control procedures, EDMS usage, and compliance requirements.
Ensure document management practices comply with NQA-1, 10 CFR 830 Subpart A, DOE Orders, and contractual QA requirements.
Collaborate with engineering, QA/QC, project management, procurement, construction, and DOE customer representatives to ensure controlled documentation meets project needs.
Develop, implement, and maintain document control policies, procedures, and workflows compliant with ASME NQA-1, DOE Order requirements, and project-specific quality assurance plans.
Coordinate and support internal and external audits, assessments, and surveillance related to document control.
Manage the complete document lifecycle, including creation, classification, numbering, version control, distribution, release, and archival.

Experience managing document control systems in engineering, construction, or nuclear projects.

Strong knowledge of ASME NQA-1, DOE Orders (e.g., DOE O 414.1D, DOE O 243.1C), and federal QA/records requirements.
Certifications such as CMP (Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) or equivalent.
