The Field Technician will perform electrical work on generators and transfer switches, including load bank cable connections and disconnections, filing electrical permits, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting and repairing electrical issues.
- Connect and disconnect load bank cables to generators and perform load tests.
- File electrical permits as required.
- Conduct generator preventative maintenance.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on generators and transfer switches.
- Read one‑line drawings and schematics and perform electrical calculations.
- Stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders regularly.
- Occasional travel may be required.

Candidates must hold a high school diploma or GED, a state‑issued 01/07 electrician license, and a valid driver’s license, with 1‑2 years of experience as a licensed 01/07 electrician. Preferred applicants have 2‑4 years of experience and familiarity with business enterprise systems such as FieldServio or SAP.
The role requires frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb unaided (or 100 lb with assistance), and the ability to work in a manufacturing environment with variable temperatures, fumes, and required personal protective equipment. The employee may need a DOT medical card and must be able to operate a heavy‑duty truck and travel occasionally.

- Lift/move up to 50 lb unassisted and up to 100 lb with assistance.
- Use required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, and safety shoes.
- Work in varying weather conditions and may need a DOT medical card to drive a heavy‑duty truck.
