  • Nest structural components, export CNC files for cutting
  • Reviews plate nests against Production Control QC tools for accuracy
  • Importing CAD files into existing software
  • Generate reports for CNC operator

  • Knowledge on different plate tables as Controlled Automation, Ficep, Kinetic, Peddinghaus or similar.
  • Knowledge on steel plate grade materials and sizes.
  • Regular sitting, climbing stairs and ladders, reaching overhead, stooping, and crouching will be required.
  • Must be able to carry a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Nesting experience in SigmaNest, Primecut, Pronest or any other similar software.
  • Must be able to lift a maximum weight up to 20 lbs. frequently; 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Must be able to constantly work in various indoor conditions including hot and cold temperatures, dust and noisy conditions.
  • Must be able to properly wear all required Personal Protective Equipment.
  • Basic Nesting Knowledge
  • Frequent standing, walking, reaching forward, balancing, feeling, object handling, simple hand grasping, firm hand grasping, and operating controls will be required.
  • Good knowledge with Excel and other Office products.
