Familiarity with thermal-hydraulic behavior of light water reactors (LWRs)
Expertise with industry codes and methods associated with PSA calculations and thermal-hydraulic modeling (CAFTA, SAPHIRE, RiskSpectrum, RELAP5-3D, MELCOR)
Experience with PSA specialty areas such as external hazards (fire, flood, high winds, seismic) or low power/shutdown modes
Eligible to work under 10 CFR Part 810
Excellent technical writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
B.S degree in nuclear engineering, mechanical engineering, or closely related field from an accredited college or university
Comprehensive knowledge of PSA regulatory requirements and ASME/ANS PRA Standards
6–10 years of experience in PSA and/or thermal-hydraulic safety analysis within the nuclear industry
