7-10 years of product stewardship and US regulatory experience is strongly desired
Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate actionable requirements and issues across to the business, through an economic lens.
Ability to develop professional relationships with local regulatory authorities, industrial associations, trade groups, customers and other stakeholders.
A fundamental understanding of chemistry as it relates to product formulation and component reactivity as well as hazard classification and toxicology.
Experience working in a chemical/industrial manufacturing environment required.
Familiarity, and ability to work with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment.
Advanced degree in similar disciplines is strongly desired
Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment, building consensus, and exerting influence to achieve informed decision-making and resolution of challenges.
Minimum 5 years of product stewardship and US regulatory experience is required.
Demonstrated program and project management skills.
Knowledge and experience of chemical substance regulations, transport regulations, and regulatory reporting in the Americas are required.
Ability to interpret legislation, critically assess risk, communicate a range of potential impacts and formulate compliance solutions.
Degree in engineering, chemistry, environmental health science, toxicology, regulatory affairs, or related technical discipline required.
