Estimator - Residential Home Builder

Description

• Collaborate with sales, design, and construction teams to ensure cost accuracy.
• Analyze plans, specifications, and site requirements to determine materials and labor needs.
• Prepare accurate cost estimates for standard home designs.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of material costs, subcontractor rates, and building regulations.
• Review variations and change orders to update estimates accordingly.
• Generate quotes, tender documentation, and pricing proposals for clients, BOQs and purchase orders.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

• Databuild software
• Stable and consistent building company with an increased pipeline of work
• Tertiary qualifications in construction or a trade background
• Well organised and established systems already set up
• Ability to work Monday to Friday in an office and committing to a full-time role.
• Excellent communication skills
• Consistent and steady work environment working alongside long-term members of staff
• Experience negotiating rates
• Experience pricing and delivering custom homes
