Associate Director - BIM Structures (ME Buildings)

Description

The role involves implementing project‑specific Digital Delivery and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) aligned with enterprise standards and client requirements, leading model‑based and data‑driven workflows, and championing digital transformation initiatives such as automation, interoperability, and process optimization.

Key responsibilities include managing multiple digital delivery workstreams across concurrent projects, promoting the use of Dynamo, scripting, and automation tools, ensuring structured data supports downstream uses like construction, asset information models, and digital twins, and enabling interoperability across platforms such as Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ProjectWise, ACC, and Navisworks.

The candidate will support the BIM/Digital Manager in training and mentoring project teams, and will establish QA/QC processes to ensure compliance with internal standards, ISO 19650 principles, and client specifications.

• Implement Digital Delivery and BIM Execution Plans aligned with standards and client needs.
• Lead adoption of model‑based, data‑driven workflows ensuring consistency and scalability.
• Champion digital transformation through automation, interoperability, and process optimization.
• Manage multiple digital delivery workstreams across concurrent projects.
• Promote Dynamo, scripting, and automation tools to boost productivity and repeatability.
• Ensure model data supports construction, asset information models, and digital twins.
• Enable cross‑platform interoperability among Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ProjectWise, ACC, and Navisworks.
• Train, upskill, and mentor project teams in digital tools and workflows.
• Establish QA/QC processes complying with ISO 19650 and client specifications.

Requirements

Qualifications require a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management (or a civil engineering diploma) with at least 10‑12 years of digital delivery experience, 15‑20 years delivering BIM solutions using ACC, BIM 360, and Revit Structure, and proven experience as a lead digital/BIM coordinator on complex multidisciplinary building projects.

• Possess 15‑20 years BIM and Digital Delivery expertise using ACC, BIM 360, and Revit Structure.
• Demonstrated lead BIM coordination on complex multidisciplinary building projects.
