Engineer Intern

Description

• Support the preparation of reports, plans, and specifications for clients;
• Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/reviews, cost estimates, research, procurement support, etc.;
• Perform data entry, management, evaluation, and presentation;

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old;
• Pursuing Bachelor or Associates Degree in Civil Engineering or related field;
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point); and
• Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills;
• Has excellent verbal and written communication skills;
• Minimum GPA of 3.0;
• Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT) is seeking a highly motivated and diverse Engineer Intern (STEM - Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) to join the engineering team in our Towson, MD location for the 2026 internship period. This is a paid full-time position with anticipated duration from June through August 2026 (flexible) and has the potential to transition into a Full-Time Junior Engineer Role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of engineering staff in the Transportation, Water, Structural and Construction Management groups
• Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCAD, MathCAD, Bentley Microstation, etc.) is preferred
• Self-motivated, detail oriented person;
