You will be responsible for overseeing multidisciplinary design teams, aligning with client expectations, and ensuring delivery excellence across all phases of the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in managing large-scale projects in the Middle East, demonstrating strong leadership, stakeholder engagement, and strategic thinking.
- Ensure design compliance with international and local codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide strategic input during project inception, design development, and delivery stages.
- Support business development and bid efforts through technical leadership and strategy formulation.
- Manage internal and external multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, planners, and specialists.
- Lead value engineering, risk management, and design review processes.
- Oversee technical and financial performance of the design function, ensuring alignment with project goals, budgets, and schedules.
- Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, clients, and JV partners.
- Act as the primary client interface for all design-related matters, ensuring expectations are met or exceeded in terms of quality, timelines, and cost.
- Lead and manage the design management function across multi-disciplinary teams and a portfolio of building and infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Demonstrated client-facing leadership on large-scale developments (urban, commercial, transport, or civic infrastructure).
Solid understanding of project financials, commercial performance, and contract management.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
PMP certification
Strong technical experience managing complex building and infrastructure projects
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Masterplanning, or a related field.
Previous experience with major international consultancies
Minimum of 15+ years of experience in design and project management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role in the Middle East.
