BIM Modeler- Plumbing & Firefighting

Description

• Develop and maintain BIM models for firefighting and plumbing systems using Autodesk Revit.
• Interpret design inputs, drawings, and project documents to produce accurate 3‑D models.
• Coordinate with HVAC, electrical, architectural, and structural disciplines to achieve clash‑free models.
• Generate complete combined services drawings.
• Perform clash detection and resolution with Navisworks Manage or similar tools.
• Produce drawings, schedules, and quantity take‑offs from BIM models.
• Keep all drawings and records updated, controlled, and available throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support the BIM Coordinator/Manager in model audits, quality checks, and documentation.
• Collaborate with project teams to deliver BIM outputs on time and provide regular status updates.
• Manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Use Navisworks Manage for clash detection.
• Utilize ACC and other cloud collaboration platforms.

Requirements

We are seeking an experienced BIM Modeler specialized in firefighting and plumbing systems to create, update, and coordinate BIM models for MEP services, ensuring compliance with project standards, BIM workflows, LOD, and client requirements.

• Hold an ITI/Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Possess 3–5 years of BIM modelling experience for firefighting and plumbing systems.
• Know relevant codes and standards such as NFPA (firefighting) and IPC (plumbing).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience on international projects.
• Demonstrate self‑initiative, discipline, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Basic knowledge of Revit plugins for automation.
• Communicate effectively in written and spoken English.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit (mandatory).
• Operate AutoCAD at a basic level.
