Support “Safety in Design” initiatives and ensure designs meet WHS and reliability requirements
Deliver functional and detailed civil design for substations and related infrastructure
Oversee construction quality and ensure compliance with ElectraNet and industry standards
Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and OEMs to drive technical excellence and continuous improvement
Develop technical documentation including design briefs, scopes, specifications and cost estimates
Support for professional certifications and memberships.

Sound understanding of WHS legislation, Australian Standards, and regulatory requirements
Tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering (essential)
Experience with AutoCAD/MicroStation and civil analysis tools such as SkyCiv or Tekla
Excellent problem-solving, time-management and communication skills
Willingness to travel within SA and contribute to a continuous improvement culture
Strong knowledge of civil design, foundations, drainage and earthworks
Eligible for membership of Engineers Australia
Chartered status with Engineers Australia and White Card training (desirable)
