Description

• Interpret plans, specifications, and civil drawings
• Manage daily operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
• Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients
• Coordinate equipment, materials, and subcontractors
• Resolve on-site challenges promptly and efficiently
• Enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Oversee all phases of site development, including: Excavation, demolition, and land clearingEarthwork and site gradingUtility installation (water, sewer, drainage systems)Road construction and paving

Requirements

The company is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead and manage heavy civil and sitework projects. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate multiple crews and subcontractors on large-scale projects.

• Familiarity with roadway construction, sewage systems, and stormwater management
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors
• Strong knowledge of excavation, grading, and underground utilities
• OSHA certification preferred
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil/sitework supervision
