  • QA/QC Building Systems Coordination

Lydig Construction is seeking a skilled, dynamic and innovative VDC Manager (Virtual Design and Construction) to lead the our Virtual Design & Construction department across our projects. In this muti-project leadership role, you’ll collaborate with internal teams and industry partners to deliver high-impact digital construction solutions that enhance project delivery, coordination, and client value. In addition, you will work with Lydig’s operations and business development departments, as well as business partners in the A/E/C industry, to integrate virtual design and construction into our projects.

  • Demonstrated 4 years competence and consistent use in VDC technologies such as Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud, Twinmotion, etc.
  • Experience with estimating, various MEP systems, and reality capture technologies is preferred.
  • Current driver’s license and an acceptable driving record as defined by Lydig’s insurance company and vehicle policy, if applicable for auto allowance
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment checks including a Drug Screen, Criminal Background and possibly Credit check
  • Demonstrated 4 years industry experience in commercial building construction
  • Coordination/Clash Detection

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines, prioritize multiple demands, and demonstrate strong internal service, integrity, and a commitment to continuous learning and adaptability.
  • Experience with Autodesk Point Layout and Similar Field Layout Platforms Preferred
  • 5 additional years of industry experience or a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or Architecture is required.
Benefits

The salary range for this position is between $95,000 and $130,000 per annum, based on experience and qualifications.
