Oversee daily operations of the chemistry laboratory.
Maintain and validate methods for accurate laboratory analysis.
Manage laboratory staff and ensure adherence to quality systems.
Operate and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation.
Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures.
Ensure compliance with state lab director approval requirements.

Proven experience in staff oversight and lab operations.
Experience in both organic and inorganic chemistry.
Experience in Radiochemistry and Microbiology is a plus.
Microbiology and radiochemistry certifications, which can be obtained while on the job.
Ph.D. in Chemistry is desired.
Proficiency in chromatography techniques.
Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
Strong technical expertise in chemistry and analytical chemistry.
State lab director approval or willingness to obtain.
Experience with ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ICs, and GC-MS.
