The Electronics Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and mechanical systems and components of industrial machinery. The role ensures equipment operates safely and meets ALARA standards to achieve zero harm, providing daily technical support to maintenance personnel.
Key duties include supporting the Maintenance Department on all electrical/electronic matters, diagnosing and repairing PLC programs, drives, motors and other equipment, creating and updating electrical schematics, and conducting inspections to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and safety guidelines.
Applicants must have a high school diploma combined with 1–2 years of apprenticeship or trades training focused on PLC programming and AC/DC drives, plus at least three years of relevant experience; five years of industrial maintenance is preferred, and equivalent education/experience may be considered.
