- Manage day-to-day accounting operations: Billing, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll (via PEO), and equity/expense platforms (e.g., Carta, Expensify)
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff: Manage both onshore and offshore personnel and grow an internal team as we scale
- Support financial strategy: Provide insights to leadership on accounting trends, forecasts, and process improvements; ensure systems are in place to support our current growth and beyond
- Own the monthly close process: Coordinate, supervise, and review comprehensive month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Ensure compliance: Stay current on accounting regulations and emerging best practices relevant to SaaS companies as well as tax compliance (e.g., sales tax)
- Manage external relationships: Coordinate with auditors, investors, and other third parties to ensure compliance and timely filings
- Drive operational excellence: Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and other teams to ensure accurate reporting of revenue, expenses, and operational metrics
- Implement scalable processes: Develop and refine accounting and administrative policies, controls, and procedures to support a high-growth SaaS environment
- Ad hoc analysis: Assist with special projects, in-depth research, and supplemental reporting critical for the Company's next stage of growth

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment with evolving processes. Experience maintaining multiple roles in Administration is preferred (i.e., Accounting, Payroll, HR, Benefits, Tax)
- Excellent technical, analytical, and communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong attention to detail
- Experience with managing people with a track record for coaching and development
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred
- 6+ years total experience. Industry experience is a must, preferably at a high-growth SaaS or technology company. Big 4 accounting firm background is a plus.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting operations
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with accounting/ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)
