Actively participate in and contribute to unit safety committee and other safety forums.
Develop own competences as a safety specialist in co-operation with the manager.
Compile, maintain and improve safety documentation together with the unit safety team.
Support the implementation, maintenance and improvement of KONE safety management system (operating model) including worker, user and third-party safety.
Cultivate an understanding and actively caring culture for safety. Act as a role model.
Monitor and develop safety risk management processes, tools and practices.
Support safety related change management projects and initiatives
Manage corrective and preventive actions for continual improvement.
Provide professional advice and support to the unit on matters affecting safety.

Plan, participate in and implement projects and activities to improve safety.
Support the development, review and exercise of crisis and emergency response plans.
Work closely with customers and partners, including KONE subcontractors.
Collect, measure and ensure accuracy of leading and lagging safety data. Report performance.
Perform safety audits regularly to verify compliance, identify uncontrolled risks and deviations.
Monitor legal and business environment development in safety, identify and propose actions.
Proactively communicate safety information including investigation outcomes and best practices.
Analyze and investigate incidents. Support the investigation process improvement.
