Parsons is seeking a talented Design Manager for its Rail Transit team. The manager will lead design teams on large Design‑Build and Alternative Delivery projects, working closely with contractor partners to deliver rail transit systems and related facilities.
Applicants must hold a four‑year degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline and be a licensed Professional Engineer. At least ten years of relevant experience, including design‑manager experience on Design‑Build or other alternative delivery projects, is required. Strong leadership, teamwork, communication skills, and familiarity with industry regulations and current technology are essential; experience with the MBTA is preferred.
- Direct scope, commercial performance, and integration of transit‑oriented development, urban design, and sustainability goals.
- Hold a 4‑year degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Possess at least 10 years of relevant experience, including design‑manager experience on Design‑Build/ADP projects.
- Be a licensed Professional Engineer.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience with the MBTA is strongly preferred.
- Knowledge of industry practices, regulations, and current technology.
