Field Service Technician – Automation Equipment

Description

• Perform installation, diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on SMT automation and related machinery
• Conduct three software training classes for customer users
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, software, and mechatronic systems
• Interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and automation system diagrams
• Maintain detailed service documentation and communicate findings to internal teams
• Deliver technical support both onsite and remotely

Requirements

• Strong mechanical/electrical diagnostic ability and PM experience
• Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Engineering or related technical field)
• Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and provide outstanding customer support
• Experience with SMT equipment or automation-related machinery
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
• Candidates with strong technical experience but no degree will still be considered
