Facade Engineer Intern

Description

• Coordination of design work with in-house staff and other design professionals including Architecture, Structural, Sustainability, Façade access, and Forensics disciplines.
• Responsible for analysis, design, and detailing facade systems. Includes mullion design, glass design, backup framing, and other façade components.
• Assist with Material and systems research including, glass, terracotta, GFRC, stone, metal panels, and more.
• Develop Revit components and prepare construction documents within a BIM environment

Requirements

• Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Rhino is preferred.
• Experience with Excel, Bluebeam Studio, and Adobe InDesign
• Undergraduate or graduate student with a concentration in engineering or architecture.
• Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Bluebeam Studio are helpful.
• Excellent academic record.
