Create detailed designs of water resource projects for federal, state, and local municipalities under the instruction of the Project Engineer.
Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.
Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures.
Use CAD application to make redline corrections or prepare design plans with guidance from an engineer.
Assist the Senior Engineer with engineering studies, designs, contract documentation preparation, technical report writing, and graphic presentation.
Assist in developing quantities for construction projects.
Prepare plans for stormwater analysis and study-level reports for stormwater projects, determine appropriate design methods, equipment sizing and selection, hydraulics and hydrology modeling, stormwater collection systems modeling, data collection, assimilation, and presentations.
Support projects in the construction phase, including submittal reviews, design clarifications, and construction management/resident engineer services.
Perform administrative duties associated with project management for projects.
Work independently on small projects, or assist more senior engineers on larger projects.

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent field
Experienced with MicroStation is highly desired.
Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.

Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task
