Develop milestones for expediting various material and service packages
Work with the Manager, Purchasing, Material and Contracts and Sourcing to support other Procurement, Material initiatives as time permits
Based on established criteria, review and assess risk for all suppliers and conduct the supplier qualification process accordingly
Deep dive analysis on some key analytics to support Demand Forecasts with Projects and potentially some other business intelligence system work
Prepare reports and provide updates to internal contacts as required
Participate in process improvement teams
Provide reports and communicate with various departments regarding contract expiry and any other pertinent information
Monitor and ensure supplier documentation is valid (e.g insurance certificate, WCB)
Implementation and review of the supplier prohibition and ownership structure
Review all documentation submitted by suppliers to AltaLink for accuracy and completeness
Assist with the maintenance of the contract management database and ensure accuracy of contract information
Administer the supplier qualification process which involves coordination with both internal and external contacts
Respond to supplier's inquiries regarding the supplier qualification process

Proven ability/experience in the above noted responsibilities
Proven track record of good attendance and punctuality
Strong attention to detail
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required
Strong analytical skills
Able to deal with competing priorities and tight deadlines
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interface with team members and customers to promote positive customer outcomes
A Supply Chain Management student who has completed 3 years of study (as of May 2026)
Proficiency in written and oral communications is required
