The Power Platform Developer role at WSP focuses on turning ideas into modern business applications, automations, and data solutions across Microsoft 365. Working closely with stakeholders and a Senior Power Platform Developer, you will design and deliver Power Apps, Power Automate flows, and Power BI analytics that simplify processes and enable faster decision‑making.
Key responsibilities include designing Canvas and model‑driven Power Apps, building cloud and desktop Power Automate flows (including custom connectors), and creating Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards with robust data modeling and row‑level security. You will also configure SharePoint Online sites, lists, libraries, and permissions, and integrate them with Power Platform solutions.
Additional duties involve modeling Dataverse tables and relationships, writing performant SQL queries, embedding apps and analytics within Microsoft Teams, and producing comprehensive solution documentation such as design documents, data dictionaries, runbooks, and release notes. You will apply ALM best practices using environments, solutions, source control, and Azure DevOps, while troubleshooting issues, monitoring telemetry, and providing knowledge transfer or light training.
The ideal candidate has hands‑on experience delivering solutions with Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, strong SharePoint Online expertise, and solid data foundations including Dataverse schema design and SQL skills. Effective priority management, clear documentation habits, and awareness of Power Platform security and governance are essential, with certifications and advanced technical knowledge viewed as assets.
WSP offers a purpose‑driven environment with global reach, a Top 100 Canadian employer reputation, and flexible work arrangements that support work‑life balance. Competitive salary ranges vary by province, and employees benefit from limitless growth opportunities, mentorship, and a collaborative culture that values safety, equity, and innovation.
