Knowledge of relevant local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations and policies
Experience in the collection of biological and physical field data. Experience with aquatics or fisheries programs or construction environmental monitoring is an asset
Must be a good communicator, leader, and problemsolver with a positive attitude and attention to detail
Comfortable working in a construction environment and directing a small team in remote locations for 23 weeks at a time
General knowledge of relevant local, provincial, and federal environmental regulations and policies
Ideal candidates will have experience in some or all of the following (field or desktopbased): Freshwater and/or marine fish salvage
Comfortable working in a construction environment in remote locations for 23 weeks at a time
Technical degree or diploma in environmental science or biological sciences
Minimum bachelor’s degree in environmental science, environmental management, science, biology, forestry, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience, experience in managing construction environmental monitoring is an asset.
