

Delivers design‑build electrical construction, 24/7 on‑demand support and utility services.
The Lead Person will oversee the management of project installations, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment within the commercial and industrial electrical industry. This role includes ensuring all work complies with industry standards and safety regulations.
The Lead Person is expected to run medium to large‑size projects, completing them on time, within budget, and safely while supervising a crew of 25+ employees. They will set performance goals, motivate crews, manage on‑site safety, resolve conflicts, coordinate installations and close‑outs, and maintain accurate documentation such as foreman logs and purchase orders.
Resource management includes overseeing tools, equipment, and staffing, reading estimates with assistance, and reporting to the Field Supervisor or Project Manager. Interaction with owners, architects, engineers, trade contractors, vendors, and corporate support functions is required, as is maintaining required licensing and training.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, and have completed an approved electrical apprenticeship program with six years (12,000 hours) or more of experience. Gaylor Electric, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, including disability and veterans.
