The position requires a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts. Cleaning and servicing assigned guest rooms according to franchise and hotel standards, returning and restocking the cart at the end of each shift, and completing scheduled deep or seasonal cleaning are also essential duties.
Key responsibilities include cleaning guest rooms to the hotel's established standards, reporting any maintenance deficiencies, and responding to guest requests or complaints. Employees must also ensure the confidentiality and security of all guest rooms.
Qualifications include a minimum of one year cleaning experience, with hotel experience preferred. Candidates should be able to communicate effectively with guests, management, and co‑workers, possess knowledge of proper chemical handling, and consider bilingual English/Spanish ability a plus. Familiarity with local activities and attractions appropriate for clientele is also beneficial.
