The Tender Manager role drives profitable revenue growth by overseeing the inquiry‑to‑order (ITO) process, ensuring price integrity and risk mitigation while acting as the primary liaison among sales, technical, and commercial teams.
In this position you will collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to develop and execute commercial strategies, maintain a robust opportunity pipeline, and uphold governance of all commercial processes and policies. You will also coordinate cross‑functional teams—including engineering, supply chain, legal, and finance—to deliver competitive technical and commercial solutions while optimizing profitability.
- Validate risk‑reward balance, considering terms, technical risks, margin, and payment security
- Promote Baker Hughes' value propositions through solution‑based selling
- Collaborate with global HQs and regional sales on market intelligence, pricing, and commercial risk
- Uphold governance of commercial processes, policies, and procedures
- Build and maintain a healthy opportunity pipeline and pricing strategy for assigned regions
- Develop segment commercial strategies and contribute to annual Commercial Intensity plans
- Own pricing initiatives and benchmark tenders with global teams
- Ensure competitive technical and commercial solutions meet customer requirements with minimal risk
- Coordinate across engineering, technology, supply chain, legal, finance, and other functions to optimize profitability
- Conduct After Action Reviews on strategic deals and share lessons learned
- Manage ITO‑to‑OTR handoff process to ensure successful execution
- Provide proven leadership on medium‑to‑high profile projects
- Utilize commercial tools, analytical systems, and financial tools for margin management and price execution

Experience with ITO processes, P&L management, and commercial discipline, as well as proficiency in commercial and financial tools, is essential.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and have at least ten years of oil‑and‑gas industry experience, including four years in sales or commercial roles and five years in completions. Technical knowledge of Baker Hughes Completion technology and Spanish language skills are advantageous, and travel up to 10 % is required.

- Spanish language skills preferred
- Ability to travel up to 10 %
