Heavy Equipment Maintenance Shop Foreman
Barnhart Crane & Rigging
Provides crane and rigging services for heavy lifting and transport in various sectors.
Lead and manage a hydraulic shop team, performing daily inspections, maintenance, repair, and training of team members for safe and efficient operation of hydraulic and specialized hydraulic equipment.
Primarily delegate to the team but also individually perform preventative and corrective maintenance as required to ensure safe and continual service of hydraulic and specialized hydraulic equipment.
Work collaboratively with engineers, operators, and other technicians.
Responsible for all daily shop inspections including forklift and general shop area.
Maintains all equipment and work areas – keeps in good, clean, and orderly condition.
Train team members through effective succession planning.
Responsible for personal compliance with company policy, safety guidelines and procedures that pertain to the hydraulic and specialized hydraulic equipment operator’s job.
Responsible to lead the hydraulic shop team in the execution of their daily tasks and responsibilities.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment which includes diesel engines, hydraulics and electrical systems, both in the shop and on the phone with operators.
Inspect work completed by other technicians.
