Event set up, take down and maintenance of workstation equipment
Utilization of universal precautions for patient care and blood handling
Provide electrocardiograms (EKG) as requested
Safeguard all soldiers’ information
Work collaboratively with providers, registered nurses, medical assistants, and administrative personnel
Provide phlebotomy services/blood draws, including specimen handling, and labeling
Ensure all actions follow HIPAA and other appropriate federal and state laws and regulations
Complete trainings and education/certifications as required
Follow applicable contractual requirements stipulated by the client and DAWSON

Experience working in a military setting and working knowledge of the regulations and policies that apply to Individual Medical Readiness (IMR) and deployment is preferred
Minimum 2+ years’ experience in a medical setting performing phlebotomy services
Must be 18 years of age or older
Have a valid US driver’s license
2 or more years' experience providing 12 lead electrocardiograms preferred
Must submit at least two professional references with resume
California Phlebotomy Technician 1 Certification
CPR/BLS Certification
Occasionally required to walk
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changes quickly
Continually required to talk or hear
Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity
Basic computer knowledge and skills
Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed
Excellent customer service skills and experience interacting with challenging clientele
Occasionally required to stand and bend
Must be collaborative and solutions oriented
