Launch your career with Actalent’s 10‑week, hourly‑paid summer sales internship, aimed at high‑energy students seeking hands‑on business development and client engagement experience across the U.S. and Canada. Interns receive training, mentorship, and the chance to directly contribute to lead generation, account outreach, and customer relationship building while gaining insight into the recruiting lifecycle.
The role is split between sales and business development (about 60‑70%) where interns conduct outbound prospecting, support account executives with research and target list creation, make sales calls, craft outreach messages, and assist in preparing proposals and presentations. They also join sales meetings, shadow professionals on client calls, and track activity metrics to report weekly progress.
The remaining 30‑40% focuses on recruiting and talent sourcing, involving candidate sourcing through job boards and social media, initial resume reviews and phone screens, supporting interview coordination, and helping draft job descriptions and outreach messages. Interns also learn the fundamentals of the recruiting lifecycle, from client qualification to negotiations and offers.
Interns engage in daily and weekly learning sessions, complete a capstone project, and collaborate on group challenges and business simulations. The program seeks rising seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree (sales majors preferred), with strong communication, organization, and a competitive, adaptable mindset.
