Lead and deliver secondary systems projects as technical authority

Tasks

-Lead project teams, oversee timelines and budgets, with continued guidance and support to peer engineers. -Prepare, review, and sign off on detailed design drawings, protection reports, and relay configurations to meet Australian Standards and client requirements. -Act as Project Lead and Technical Authority on secondary systems projects. -Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across transmission, distribution, renewables, traction power, and other multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver innovative and technically outstanding solutions. -Serve as a client-facing contact, providing advice, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring clear, professional communication.

What You Bring

-Extensive technical competency and leadership experience in secondary protection and control system projects. -Strong understanding of transmission and distribution system protection and control in accordance with Australian Standards. -Demonstrated experience in project leadership, client-facing roles, and consultancy environments, with excellent communication and relationship management skills. -Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar), with RPEV (or equivalent) or the ability to obtain. -Experience in Transmission Network Service Providers within Australia is highly coveted. -Proven experience in detailed design, preparation of protection reports, preparation of relay configurations and review/sign-off of technical documentation.
