  • Perform specific/limited portions of assignments using prescribed methods for a variety of architectural projects under the general supervision of a senior licensed architect.
  • Participate in the development of functional, sustainable and client inspired designs.
  • Focus on all phases of the design process including Schematic Design, Design Development and the production of Construction Documents.
  • Assist with Construction Administration tasks including construction site visits, submittal, and RFI reviews.

BDG Architects has an immediate need for a talented, creative, and motivated Architecture Associate. This is a full-time position that will be based out of our downtown Tampa, FL office. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience and proficiency in Revit is required. License is not required at this time but a degree from an accredited school of architecture is required. Project types will include primarily Banking/Financial Services with some participation in Hospitality/Restaurants and Industrial.

  • Exceptional problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Revit is required. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite, Photoshop and other software is a plus but not a requirement.
  • Values accuracy and thoroughness in all work with strict and careful attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and professionally with other team members and accept direction to reach common goals for successful outcomes.
  • Demonstrate excellence in collaboration and team building.
