Coordinate and participate in regular schedule of job site safety visits
Ensure job site safety through strict adherence to OSHA and company requirements
Maintain appropriate certifications and keep abreast of all state/local and federal changes to the law
Manage safety administrators
Work with project managers to develop job site specific safety plans
Manage property and personal injury matters, including workers compensation claims
Assist project management staff with issuing responses to clients involving safety related matters
Investigate and document property and personal injury accidents in defense of company’s interests
Analyze reports to evaluate risk management
Attend labor meetings to address specific safety concerns
Attend safety meetings to review/discuss hazard surveys completed during recent site visits
Assist with the review of contract documents related to safety
Promoting safety conscious environment
Introduce and update safety procedures as needed
Perform Workers Compensation claims management
Manage the OSHA inspection process
Coordinate and monitor the issuance of employee disciplinary measures involving safety related matters
4 year degree in Safety Management, ES&H Management or related science/construction field.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
3-10 years of health/safety experience in commercial construction
