The role serves as a regional resource for problem‑solving engagements, cascading strategic goals from leadership to contributors, and acting as a liaison to ensure transparent communication and collaboration across stakeholders.
The practitioner champions continuous improvement, leverages Lean methodologies to enhance operational efficiency, identifies and mitigates risks, and coaches Lean Practitioners, Process Owners, and other leaders.
Key duties include aligning with the global Lean program, implementing process‑improvement tools, leading improvement projects, conducting Lean training, performing root‑cause analysis, and facilitating Obeya rooms, VSM, Kaizen workshops, and daily work installations.
Execution involves close work with local leadership, mentoring project leaders, standardizing processes, delivering workshops that blend theory and practice, and introducing new CI techniques across the team.
Lean Practitioner Role Overview: The Lean Practitioner, Master supports Lean implementation at the team level, facilitating problem‑solving, standard work and continuous improvement. They work closely with Lean Leaders to build Lean capability and act as the engine of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and contributing to a Lean culture.
Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, 8‑10 years of continuous‑improvement experience, proven leadership in business transformation, strong communication, analytical and systems‑thinking abilities, and expertise in Lean and Six Sigma training and coaching.
