Coordinating with key stakeholders such as Drainage Management Centre, Ministry of Interior, Baladiya and Hamad Medical Corporation to safely manage incidents and events
Ensuring equipment faults or availability that are impacting operations are reported to the Team Leader immediately
Support the regular review and update of standard operating procedures and response plans
Setting and removing traffic management response plans and DMS messaging plans in accordance with scheduled traffic diversion plans (TDP) and supporting major events
Supporting the delivery of the RMC daily reports, major incident reports and monthly performance reports
Managing the coordination of emergency works with zonal and strategic highways framework contractors
Following and implementing Standard Operating Procedures, emergency plans and severe weather response plans where applicable
Identify performance improvement opportunities for congestion, incident and major event traffic management
Monitoring SCATS, SCADA and ATMS systems and making adjustments to manage short term congestion and corridor performance recovery following incidents and manual interventions
Complying with health, safety, and environmental regulations in the RMC and Tunnel Control Rooms.
Staying updated on industry best practices and innovative technologies in roads operations
Regularly updating the RMC or Tunnels Team Leader during escalated events and incidents that RMC and Tunnels Control Rooms are managing or supporting
Monitor and manage the RMC and Tunnels systems to detect incidents and congestion and achieve the performance SLAs for network, corridor, junction and incident management
Detecting and responding to roads incidents to achieve performance SLAs

Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant road management software
Minimum of 3 years’ experience. Traffic Operations and Control Room experience desirable
Knowledge of Qatar or Middle East road standards and regulations
Experience operating traffic and tunnel control room systems (Genetec, SCATS, ATMS, SCADA etc.) desirable
Knowledge of road infrastructure maintenance and operations, particularly in Qatar or the Middle East region
Proficiency in English required, proficiency in Arabic is desirable
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
