Shoveling, sweeping, picking up trash, painting and performing general cleanup of plant areas and locomotive operations
Aiding in the training of co-workers as needed
Operating equipment and performs other tasks within rail operations
Maintaining good housekeeping in areas of responsibility
Ensuring all materials are loaded and/or unloaded and stockpiled to meet all quality control requirements
Loading and/or unloading railcars in a safe and efficient manner
Performing maintenance or repairs on all plant and mobile equipment including some welding
Performing daily preventative maintenance and routine maintenance on mobile and plant equipment under the guidance of designated personnel
Participating in plant operations including production, quality control, loading and shipping
Performing daily pre/post-shift inspections on equipment and maintains maintenance log

Possess a High School Diploma, GED or equivalent experience to perform the responsibilities associated with this position
Having experience in conveyor and/or mobile equipment maintenance is a plus
