Supervise the coordination of the project with city, state, and county officials, and other regulatory agencies

Perform Value Engineering studies.

Lead the Engineering CAC effort and interaction with the project PM.

General work environment - sitting for extended periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions, such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
Knowledge of engineering processes and calculations including load calculations, equipment layout, normal and emergency standby distribution, HV/MV distribution, lighting layout, lighting calculations, power and lighting controls, utility coordination, grounding, value engineering, applicable codes, and standards, is required.
Working knowledge of equipment and system testing and commissioning.
The ability to analyze and resolve complex engineering problems.
Ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player.
The ability to assume responsibility, interface, and coordinate with others.
Ability to communicate with Project Manager (PM) or Executive regarding effort required to accomplish an expected deliverables and project support.This may include developing requests for additional services for submittal to the PM or Owner.
Fluency with Building Codes and Local Codes in the local area of projects.
Field experience is strongly recommended.
Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.); Oracle preferred
Registration as a licensed US-based Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required for this position.
The ability to oversee Electrical System Studies such as: Short Circuit, Overcurrent Protection, Arc Flash, Voltage Drop/Droop, and Underground Thermal Calculations.
Knowledge of electrical construction sufficient to understand how design packages will be built.
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, Trade Partners and others
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary
Able to resolve a variety of complex problems (i.e. conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials, difficult coordination requirements).
