Carry out background research on environmental topics, policies, and local planning requirements.
Draft sections of Environmental Statements, EIA Screening Reports, EIA Scoping Reports, and other planning-related documents.
Track project progress and ensure tasks are completed on time.
Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency in reporting.
Assist with scoping exercises to identify potential environmental impacts.
Help prepare project plans, timelines, and documentation to support senior consultants and project managers.
Review and summarise technical reports produced by specialist consultants.
Support baseline data collection, including desk studies and occasional field visits.
Help prepare materials for stakeholder consultations (e.g., presentations, briefing notes, summaries).
Assist in the coordination of EIA projects, including managing inputs from technical specialists.

Good understanding of the EIA Regulations and planning system

Degree or post-graduate qualification in an environmental discipline (or working towards)
Strong graphics and report presentation skills desirable
Excellent time and project management skills
Proficient in Microsoft packages including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, and some working knowledge of GIS. In design and MS project experience desirable but not essential
